Compressed Biogas (CBG): Renewable Fuel from Organic Waste

Shree Tuljabhavani Sugar has commissioned a state-of-the-art Compressed Biogas (CBG) plant as part of its deep commitment to sustainable and circular energy solutions. The facility converts sugarcane bagasse, organic waste and agricultural residues, including pressmud and spent wash, into clean, high-energy biogas that can be used as a green substitute for LPG and CNG in industrial and vehicular applications.

With a total production capacity of 10+ tonnes per day across its units, the CBG initiative not only reduces greenhouse gas emissions but also transforms waste into value-added fuel, supporting rural energy security and national biofuel goals.
